I didn't sign up for a video at the convetion. Can I still order a video?

Yes. We record all contestants during a competition and can create a personalized video for you based on your contestant number.

In addition to the competitions listed above, we offer custom video shoots to truly capture your IMTA experience. If you are interested in scheduling a video shoot during the next IMTA convention, please contact us by phone or e-mail us a info@myimta.com.

How do I receive the videos that I order?

You can choose to download your video or receive it in the mail. The video formats that we offer are DVD, WMV, and MP4. We also offer Blu-Ray on request. DVD and Blu-Ray videos are mailed to you, whereas WMV and MP4 videos can be downloaded.

What is a WMV (or Windows Media Video)?

WMV (or Windows Media Video) is a video format created by Microsoft and can be played back on your computer and uploaded to the Internet for playback on You Tube, Facebook, and MySpace. It can be viewed in the video software Windows Media Player that is loaded automatically onto all PCs using Microsoft Windows.

What is a MP4(or MPEG-4)?

MP4 (or MPEG-4) is a video format used in many apple products and video phones. It can be viewed in the free video software, Quicktime, from your computer or uploaded to an iPod or iPhone with iTunes.

What is a DVD (or Digital Video Disc)?

DVD (or Digital Video Disc) is a video format that replaced video tapes because of its superior image and quality. DVDs can jump directly to playing the video or can operate with menus that allow the viewer to go directly to their favorite parts of a video through the use of chapter or scene selection buttons. DVD can be played back on DVD players connected to television sets or on computers that have DVD players in them.

What is the IMTA Yearbook DVD?

The IMTA Yearbook DVD is a highlights DVD of all the competitions and events held throughout the IMTA convention. The Yearbook is sold through the IMTA member schools and includes a custom video group shoot and the school’s team competitions. Talk to your director about whether or not your school has ordered the IMTA Yearbook DVD.

How do I attach a video to an email?

• To begin, open your emailing software
• Next create a new email
• Fill out the email as you normally would with an email address to send to, body, and subject
• Now select the option to attach a file. This option may look like a paperclip and is normally located on the top toolbar
• Select the video file that you would like to attach and send the email

How do I import my MP4 videos onto my iPod if I have a PC?

• Open iTunes and click "File" to add your videos to iTunes library
• Plug in your iPod to computer, then iTunes will detect your iPod as a device
• Select your iPod device on the left panel of iTunes, click "Movies" tab, check the videos you want to sync and click "Apply", done

The WMV won’t play on my computer. What can I do?

I have a Mac: The Windows Media Video format will not play on a Mac. If you have a Mac computer, please contact us as soon as possible and we will give you a compatible digital format.

I have a PC: Check the file extension. The file extension should be .wmv. If that is not the file extension, the right click on the file and rename the file with the extension .wmv. If you continue to have problems, please contact My IMTA staff at info@myimta.com or (985) 796-0284.

What if I have received one of my digital videos but not all of them?

Each digital video is uploaded and delivered individually. You should receive an email for each digital video and digital video format that you ordered. If you have not received all of your digital videos that you ordered within 2 to 4 weeks, please contact My IMTA staff at info@myimta.com or (985) 796-0284.

What if I have received my WMV or MP4, but haven’t received my personalized DVD yet?

The WMVs take less time can be delivered to you via email within 2 to 4 weeks. The DVDs take about 6 to 8 weeks to create and deliver. If you have not received your DVD 6-8 weeks after your order, please contact My IMTA staff at info@myimta.com or (985) 796-0284.

What if I have received my personalized DVD, but haven’t received my WMV or MP4 yet?

Check your junk or spam folder first. If the email delivery is not there, please contact My IMTA staff at info@myimta.com or (985) 796-0284.

What if I haven't received any of my video order?

If it has been more than 4 weeks for your digital videos or more than 8 weeks for your personalized DVD, please contact My IMTA immediately so that we can sort out the issues with your order. My IMTA staff can be reached at info@myimta.com or (985) 796-0284.
